St Silas Youth Group

Picture

Our Youth Group launched on 28th April 2018.
The group is for those aged 9 and over who are members of St Silas Church.
As a rule, the group will meet in the Community Hall on the last Saturday of the month, from 4.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m., but we will have to work around other church bookings and Fr Rayner's holidays ! Also, trips might take place at other times and maybe during school holidays.
There is a nominal charge of £1 per meeting. Refreshments are provided.
We started off with a games session, with an option to do some clay modelling. For the last 30 mins we had some teaching and activities about Jesus : God made Man.
In August 2018 we went on a trip on the Grand Union Canal from Camden to Little Venice, where we had a packed lunch. In January 2019 we had a three-course meal at Bella Italia !

We are committed to safeguarding children, young people, victims of domestic abuse and vulnerable adults. The Parochial Church Council has adopted the Church of England’s policies and best practice on safeguarding which may be found on the Church of England’s website. https://www.churchofengland.org/more/safeguarding.

Our Parish Safeguarding Officer is Nathan Lyons, who may be contacted at church or via the Parish Office: 020 7713 6073.
You can contact the London Diocesan Safeguarding Officer on 020 7932 1224 or e-mail: [email protected]
