Junior Church (our Sunday School)

Picture

Junior Church on Sundays during term-time is for children aged 4 and above. Children gather with their families in church ready for the start of Parish Mass at 11.00 a.m. Shortly after the start of Mass, they go together to Junior Church, where they enjoy their own teaching and discussion, centred on the Bible readings for the day or a Church season or festival. Our adult leaders are all DBS-checked.

There is an All Age Mass about once per month. On these Sundays, there is no Junior Church. The children stay with us for the whole of the Mass and are involved in leading the Bible readings and prayers. The homily is preached with children in mind.
We are committed to safeguarding children, young people, victims of domestic abuse and vulnerable adults. The Parochial Church Council has adopted the Church of England’s policies and best practice on safeguarding which may be found on the Church of England’s website. https://www.churchofengland.org/more/safeguarding.

Our Parish Safeguarding Officer is Nathan Lyons, who may be contacted at church or via the Parish Office: 020 7713 6073.
You can contact the London Diocesan Safeguarding Officer on 020 7932 1224 or e-mail: [email protected]
