Meeting up - groups and clubs

MORE SILAS… More Silas will resume in the autumn. It takes place after the 7pm Thursday Mass. A simple, friendly and relaxed time to discuss what we believe and what Holy Church teaches us, based around scripture readings from the Missal, with prayer and songs. No need to sign up – just come on the night. Each evening stands on its own, so you are very welcome to start any week when it resumes in the autumn.

JUNIOR CHURCH… it’s especially for school aged children and meets each Sunday during the main Mass at 11.00am. Children have their own ministry of the word with interactive discussions and activities each week. Junior church join the main Mass once a month. There are currently  five Junior Church leaders who are experienced and enthusiastic.     

RELAX... This  ‘stop and play’ group meet every Tuesday morning during term time from 10.00 – 12noon and is especially for pre-school babies & toddlers and their carers.  The sessions are absolutely free.  Just pop into the Community Hall and speak with Michelle for more information.    

PRAYER GROUP...This group meet every Sunday morning in church at 10.30am  to pray  for the church and our parish  community.  If you have any intentions for the prayer group they may be written out and posted in the prayer box in church.  If you have need of urgent prayer please  email Father Shaun Richards Father.sr@talktalk.net or phone 020 7278 1101.    

ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS... This newly  formed group meet each week in the Community Hall.  Tuesday nights,  7.00pm - 8.00pm and is open to people who  believe they  may have a drink  problem  or indeed family or friends  needing advice   

THE WHITCROSS ORCHESTRA…always looking for new members &  meet each  Wednesday  evening  in the Community Hall for rehearsals - building up  to a concert at  the end of each term.  Catch  more details on their own dedicated website.www.whitecross-orchestra.org.uk
